Ambos você e seu oponente têm um homebase, um quarto na placa do jogo que eventualmente, todos seus verificadores deve estar lá.
Seu lado do corner(the do homebase do homebase sem um outro quarto nele) é seu primeiro ponto (indicado por um triângulo colorido), o triângulo ao lado dele é seus segundo ponto e assim.
Seu 2ô ponto é o canto do homebase do oponente (o canto distante).
Antes que você comece jogar, você necessita colocar cinco verificadores em seu õ ponto, três em você 8o, cinco no seu 1ós ' e em dois no seu 2ôs.
